About Monxton Nurseries

Nestled in the heart of rural Hampshire, Monxton Nurseries spans over 25 acres of expertly managed greenery, supplying high-quality, cost-effective planting solutions for private estates, landscapers, developers, and commercial clients across the UK.

Founded in the early 1990s, Monxton Nurseries was originally established to meet a growing need for sustainable screening plants and secure, design-led planting schemes. What began as an extension of a successful landscaping business has since grown into a respected name in the horticultural industry.

As the demands of the landscaping and environmental sectors have evolved, so too have we. In recent years, changing client needs have shaped a new direction for the nursery. We now offer a dedicated contract growing service, providing clients with bespoke plant production tailored to their project timelines and specifications. Alongside this, we’ve introduced a responsible green waste disposal service, processing waste in-house and turning it into nutrient-rich compost.

Monxton Nurseries is also proud to be the headquarters and home of our sister company, KBL (Kieron Beattie Landscaping) — a natural extension of our mission to deliver comprehensive landscaping solutions from the ground up.

Today, Monxton Nurseries continues to grow with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and service — working closely with our clients to support the landscapes of tomorrow.

Instant hedges, instant appeal

At Monxton Nurseries, we set out to redefine how outdoor spaces are enclosed and enhanced. Rather than relying on traditional barriers like fencing and brick walls, our customers were looking for solutions that were environmentally conscious, visually appealing, and quick to install.

We’re proud to meet that demand with our expertly grown instant hedging; a natural, sustainable alternative that enhances property security while helping to reduce noise pollution for both residents and passersby. Instant hedging offers the beauty of mature greenery with the practicality today’s landscapes require.

Sustainability in action at Monxton Nurseries

Here at Monxton Nurseries headquarters, sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do. From our energy efficient building design, air source heating, and solar powered operations to the use of battery powered hand tools, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact. These low emission tools help minimise noise and air pollution, while enhancing the energy efficiency of our daily work.

We also implement water saving practices and embed recycling and resource efficient processes across the nursery to ensure nothing goes to waste.

Beyond infrastructure, we’re focused on cultivating a biodiverse, nature-friendly nursery, planting native trees and hedging, encouraging pollinators, and creating habitats that support local wildlife.

Our long term goal is to become a carbon neutral business, and we are continuously evaluating and improving our practices to move closer to that target.

We aim to grow not just exceptional plants, but a healthier, more sustainable future for our clients, our community, and the environment.
